As you can see from the photos Cove Cottage is in an idyllic setting. The cottage has a mature garden, and outside are small paddocks and huge ancient oaks trees and beech forests. You will be in the heart of the oldest part of the New Forest, with many different Forest walks directly from the cottage.

The village, about a mile away, has a popular local pub with good food and atmosphere. Cricket is played on the village green, and there are some fine old country pubs within 4 or 5 miles in most directions too, and the village shop about a mile away sells essential groceries. Salisbury and Romsey, both about 8 miles, have good restaurents and historic buildings.
